GROWING IN INSTEAD OF GROWING UP NO SMELL, NO TASTE, NO DISCERNMENT TAKEN FROM THE SIDE NOT A PAIN IN THE SIDE HEALING OF A WART AND A WART TYPE GROWTH
My first physical healing came to me in 1988: deliverance from asthma. I was plagued with asthma since I was three years old. At the age of 42, after being born again for 9 years, the word of YHVH (God) convicted me that as the Israelites left Egypt they had no diseases of Egypt (Exodus 15:26 and Deuteronomy 7:15). Also that my Messiah Yeshua (Jesus) died for all my sins and diseases. This started convicting me that I had to believe the word (Yeshua) over my sickness (Psalm 103:3; Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24). In Matthew 9:35 Yeshua healed every disease and sickness. These promises in the word made me seek healing. Also my asthma was tearing me down. Taking 4 allergy shots in my leg each week, medication daily, inhalers, coughing and sneezing all the time was embarrassing. By faith I took my shots away first and felt better. Then in 1989 I stopped my pills. I started going through my asthma attacks and standing on His promises. I did not realize that as I took my focus off the problem the healing was coming. One morning, a year later, the LORD YHVH spoke to me as I was laying on my living room floor and couldn’t breathe. He said, “Get up and run”. I said, “I can’t breathe”. I got up off the floor and headed down the street. Within one block I was healed and delivered. We must keep on daily taking our real medicine of the word and keep our healings (Proverbs 3:8 and Proverbs 4:22). His word brings healing to man’s flesh. Hallelujah, Hallelujah! P.S. 14 years later I helped a friend combine his wheat and I felt the asthma come back. Fear and anxiety set in on me and I could not breathe. I started proclaiming YHVH’s promises. For 4 to 5 hours the war was on. While combining it was a still day with no wind and the dust settled in all around me. This increased my fear of getting sick and sure enough I did. The breakthrough came and I was delivered again. I got off the combine and worshipped my Healer, Yeshua the Great Healer of Israel.
I had experienced boils under my arm pits. They were very hurtful and made me cry out for deliverance. Boils are again another plague of Egypt (Exodus 9:9-11; Leviticus 13:18-23). The Hebrew for boils means to seek out, cause to swell, boil up or to swell up. There are, I am sure, many vitamins and reports from the worldly wise men on how to avoid boils, but I went to the faithful word of YHVH, the Bible. My afflictions always drove me to the glorious word to get my answer. As the Scriptures washed me, I got healed. I even put a fig on it (Isaiah 38:21). When we are desperate for our healing, nothing is unusual. We will try everything. But His word healed me. As I kept searching the Scriptures and repenting of my wicked ways of returning to Egypt, YHVH healed me. Yahveh always wants to heal. The truth of the matter is we just do not want Him bad enough. He says if you seek you find. He does not lie. This pain drove me to repentance and then restoration. We must go to the fountains of living waters, the word. His living Torah, (teaching and instructions), healed me. Hallelujah, Hallelujah! Deliverance produces worship. David days is Psalm 119:71 that is was good for me to be afflicted that I might learn His statutes. We get afflicted by YHVH so we stop sinning and walk in obedience to His Torah (the first five books). When you are born again and have the seed of the Messiah in you, you must come out of Egypt. Egypt is slavery to sin and we are healed when we come out of it (Revelation 18:4). If you backslide you will get Egypt’s plagues and they are severe. Expect the rod in your life if you do descend into Egypt. We must all pass under the shepherds rod to bring us back into the bond of the covenant (Ezekiel 20:37 and Psalm 89:30-34) We are chastened to go to new heights and not go backwards. Get it right and get healed!!
HEALING OF WARTS AND A WART TYPE GROWTH I had a wart type growth under my right arm which would irritate me, mostly in the summer. It was there for years and I just accepted and lived with it. It was very uncomfortable as sweating and deodorants would irritate it. One day it came to me to ask the Great Healer, Yeshua (Jesus) to take it away. Matthew 7:7 says ask and it will be given unto you. I asked my wife to pray for me. Nothing happened right then. That night I took a shower and it was gone. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!! As you see miracles, your faith increases. A few weeks later I was at work and a young coworker had a wart on the top of his right hand. It was large and very ugly as sin is truly a disgrace to us. I asked if I could pray for it to be removed and sure enough, he was healed in the precious name of Yeshua. As I write this I just want to celebrate. In the mid 1990’s my back started giving me problems. Many times it would put me on my knees with pain. With pain, I continued to pray and seek YHVH (God). I knew in Scriptures that Yeshua (Jesus) died for my health. In Deuteronomy 28:13 it says we will be the head and not the tail. Also in Deuteronomy 28:18 it says if I do not obey YHVH, He will curse the fruit of our body. Scriptures were telling me that I was carrying unnecessary burdens. I had just recently quit a $25,000.00 a year job and stayed unemployed for the next year to rest and seek YHVH. Money was a big god to me and it was a big back breaking experience to go from this salary to nothing. I spent the summer going to the streets to past out tracts, witnessing, studying and praying. My back was getting worse. I would not seek out any natural relief. I knew I had an awesome healer within me. Scriptures started washing my Greek mind set. Scriptures like 1 Peter 5:7 which says, “cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for us.” Hebrews 12:1 says, “get rid of every weight and the sin that entangles us and let us run with patience the race set before us.” As we go to Scriptures we seek a most personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. As the word is spirit and you can not separate Yeshua from the word. He is the living word, the living Torah. Matthew 11:30 encouraged me saying, “My (Yeshua’s) yoke is easy and my burden is light.” One day while emptying leaves from my lawn mower bag, my back went out. I called to my wife for help. She came over, laid her hands on my back and prayed. I said to the Lord, “give me faith or kill me.” He healed me on the spot. I walked over to our little Honda car and felt I could lift the front end. I felt like I could lift an elephant. YHVH gave me a back of an 18 year old. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!! As we see YHVH’s hand move it produces worship and intimacy. As you go to the Scriptures they will correct your problems and give you faith to get through your situation. As you look up the word ‘back’ in the Hebrew concordance, you will get words like: backbiting, backsliding and backbone.
1) You may be a backslider and need to repent and
get going back on the path of holiness (obedience to Torah, the first five
books).
NO SMELL, NO TASTE, NO DISCERNMENT We must come to see that we are all sheep that have gone astray, but now we are returning to the Shepherd and Overseer of our souls. Isaiah 1:6 says, “from the sole of the foot even unto the head, there is no soundness in it, but wounds, bruises and putrefying sores. They have neither been bound up, neither comforted with oil.” My afflictions have come to heal me. YHVH (God) is looking for pure vessels. We must come to this understanding or we will wander in the wilderness and die in our sin. I dedicate all my afflictions to my most humble Messiah who has healed my wounds and hurts. Not all have to go through what I have encountered to get into their promise land. Concerning my healing on my being able to smell and taste: a sinus problem led to a complete shut down of smelling and tasting foods., or smelling of any kind of odors. I went to Scriptures and started a journey to get healed. YHVH’s word started revealing to me that I needed to repent of not discerning the good food of His word from the poison food. We must all separate the precious from the vile (Jeremiah 15:19 and Romans 16:19). The Hebrew definition for the word ‘taste’ is judgment, decisions, taste. The Hebrew definition for the word ‘smell’ is nostril, nose, anger. The Hebrew definition for the word ‘nose’ is scent, perceive, odors. I kept seeking for the answer, trying to hold on to faith. In Matthew 13:58 Yeshua says he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief. Finally YHVH broke through as we serve the God of the breakthrough. YHVH has called us as priests and a priest is called to separate the precious from the vile. Many are sick in the body of Messiah because they accept what ever man says. They do not search out the Scriptures as the Bereans did in Acts 17:11. The Israelites had to gather manna daily. We must build ourselves up in the most holy faith. When we overcome our afflictions through repentance, we will live the victorious life that Yeshua died for. This affliction was good as it made me seek the living Torah, (Yeshua). YHVH is preparing us as a bride now and we must not die in the wilderness. Embrace each new obstacle and remove it by faith. It is awesome to smell and taste again. A scripture that totally floored me was in Psalm 115:4-6, “Their idols are silver and gold, the works of man’s hand. They have mouths, but they speak not, eyes have they, but they see not. They have ears but hear not, noses have they, but they smell not.” As I got rid of my idols the blessing came. Hallelujah, Hallelujah!! Give God the glory as he has set the captive free.
How would you like to have burning lips from the inside which manifested on the outside with swelling and open sores?! Sin is always a disgrace or embarrassing. YHVH (God) has to trim off every branch that is not fruitful. This affliction to my mouth was again only temporary and was the main affliction that brought me back to the bond of the covenant. Ezekiel 20:37 says, “ and I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you back to the bond of the covenant.” The rod of YHVH (God) (as a father loves his children) brought me back to the lover of my soul. This momentary affliction lasted almost one full year. It made me look like a leper and put me outside the camp. In Leviticus 13 a leprous man had to go outside the camp for 7 days to get right with God. In this time of being outside the camp he would meditate and repent of his uncleanness. In Matthew 8:2-3 a leper came to Yeshua (Jesus) and worshipped Him. He heals me again and again. Many people saw this affliction in my life as you can’t hide sin. That is why Paul says in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 that we be whole in body, soul, and spirit. A scripture that brought me faith was in Proverbs 26:23: “Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with sliver dross.” It was very clear YHVH was dealing with my speech and getting the inside clean. In Matthew 23:25-26 Yeshua makes it very plain that as the inside of the cup is clean the outside will be clean also. We can all put on a good show outwardly but YHVH sees the heart. YHVH is good at getting the dross out of us. As these healings come you will developed a godly fear of YHVH and turn from evil immediately. He has taught me much through afflictions:
1) That they will come (and many are the
afflictions of a righteous man (Psalm 34:19).
GROWING IN INSTEAD OF GROWING UP How many of you believe our bodies serve as sounding boards or message centers? I believe the Creator, YHVH, made us as a whole being made up of body, soul and spirit. When one of the three is afflicted it causes all the others to react. One awesome revelation that has never failed to be true is that when our spirit is in line with the truth of scripture, the other parts get in line too. So when I had an ingrown toenail I prayed for revelation on it’s symbolic meaning. Here is what I got: “You are growing in not growing up.” Ingrown represents a self-centeredness instead of a God centeredness. I repented and asked for the grace to keep my focus on YHVH’s kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). The ingrown toenail resolved itself and got back in line with being healthy. Amazing!
TAKEN FROM THE SIDE NOT A PAIN IN THE SIDE Before I understood the ways of our Creator, YHVH, I had a kidney stone. At this time I was born again only a short time but married 12 years. Yet I was a poor testimony of a godly wife. We fought and argued. There was a great disrespect on my part towards my husband. Instead of believing Scriptures which say I was taken from his side as a help mate, I considered him a pain in the side. Well, a pain in the side I received. No one could understand why I had a kidney stone. There were no genetic background problems or medical ones in my past. At that time, there was no spiritual teachers to explain this to me either. This article is to help us all recognize the law of reaping and sowing. Even though I didn’t understand or believe this law, I still suffered the effects. We all must eat the fruit of our mouths so be good to yourselves and speak blessings so you can reap them. (Proverbs 18:20-21)
I’m wondering if that is what our Creator, YHVH, says about us when we go our own way? For many years I had migraine headaches. I could never put my finger on why they appeared. No outside influence or physical one seemed to line up. Not that these things can’t cause headaches, but in my case, if it was something I could prevent, I wanted to do it. As I prayed for wisdom, YHVH helped me understand what he desires of me as His child. I wanted to be the head and control my days. He wanted me to rest and trust Him to do it. Growing up, I practiced manipulation and control. Leaving it for faith has been a long, hard road. Yeshua, Jesus, promises rest for our souls as we wear His yoke (Matthew 11:28-30 and Jeremiah 6:16). This is true but moving into this position has not been easy. As the verse in Jeremiah listed before we must walk in His ways or Torah in order for the yoke to be easy. It is freedom from sin to walk in the laws, commands and teachings of God. This truly sets us free from the bondage of sin and death. Slowly, the transformation has continued. Now, the headaches are rare and hopefully so is my tendency to be a headache to YHVH.
The rash started on my right thigh. It spread through my right leg, then moved to my left thigh and then my left leg. Then it moved to my left and right arm. I was very tormented. I could not stop itching and scratching it. In my sleep I would scratch it. The itch was very embarrassing. I had to wear long shirts in the summer to cover it up. I looked like a leper. Jeremiah 31:18-19 says, “I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus: Thou has chastened me, and I was chastised, as a bullock unaccustomed to the yoke; turn thou me, and I shall be turned, for thou art the Lord my God. Surely after that I was turned, I repented and after that I was instructed. I smote upon my thigh. I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.” All YHVH (God)’s dealings with me have been with tender mercies and has proved His bondservant rights (sonship) to me. The rash was so tormenting it made me seek YHVH with all my heart, soul, and strength. Pain makes you run to the throne and say, “Why me, why me?” Well sin is again embarrassing and the opposite of grace (disgrace). Grace in Hebrew means favor. I needed YHVH to turn His face to me and give me favor. He showed me many things as I sought Him. He says in Hebrews 11:6, “He is a rewarder to those who diligently seek Him and without faith it is impossible to please God.” Many things run through your mind as you are being afflicted. I felt YHVH was telling me I was an irritation to the body of Messiah. That this is how the body of Messiah keeps picking on each other. I can tell you many thoughts. YHVH was training me to not focus on the affliction, but focus on Him, author and finisher of my faith (Hebrews 12:2). Many of us look at our problems and get robbed of faith. The devil comes to rob, steal and destroy. He is allowed to eat our dust (sin). That is why judgment begins in the house of YHVH (1 Peter 4:17). We must all get through our judgments and become overcomers. My wife and I lived in Israel and came back for a visit. My rash and torment got worse. I went to the throne and I heard, “It will get worse before it gets better.” It went over my body up to my ears. Then YHVH spoke to me through the written word. Isaiah 66:13 says, “I will comfort you in Jerusalem.” As we returned to Jerusalem, YHVH spoke around 3 in the morning in August and said, “You are healed through Hebrew songs.” Hallelujah, Hallelujah!! Many are the afflictions of the righteous (Psalm 34:19). YHVH remembered David, and all his afflictions (Psalm 132:1). And delivered him out of all his afflictions and gave him favor (Acts 7:10). May these testimonies of my great and wonderful Abba Father encourage you that we serve a God of the breakthrough who chastens his sons. He chastens us unto holiness (Hebrews 12:10-11) and that yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness (right living). |
